Rockin' Reptile Background

Shan Tan (aka founded ROCKIN’ REPTILE. “The Sole Sista”), who at 23 years old, a barrister at law of Gray ’s Inn London plucked up enough courage to pursue her dream in fashion. Undeterred by the fear of failure the very first ROCKIN’ REPTILE collection was launched in October 2005 to thankfully an overwhelming response. ROCKIN’ REPTILE has its presence specifically in United Kingdom, Ireland and Germany and has flagship chain-store retail outlets in Malaysia. ROCKIN’ REPTILE will also launch more brand new outlets in Singapore and Japan year-end.

Over three years on, ROCKIN’ REPTILE, with the vision of making runway designer shoes available to fashion-forward and style driven ladies, at an affordable price has grown significantly and now distributes Worldwide. Our vision of Luxe for Less is made possible by working intensively on 5 main areas:

Constantly adding to her repertory of ideas and images taken from her love of music, particularly R and B, Jazz and Soul, art, design and cinema, in short from everything that reflects the changes in fashion. Her favourite artistes being Christina Aguilera, who also shares Shan’s love of Vintage Hollywood Glamour and Gwen Stefani who represents Shan’s very distinctive, wild side of fun, independence and funkiness. ROCKIN’ REPTILE aspires to bring that je ne sais quoi from our drawing board to the runway to you.
